SASSA STATUS CHECK

This is wonderful news for people in South Africa who are poverty-stricken and unable to find employment or earn a living. Currently, unemployed people who do not have another source of income, such as a social grant or UIF payment, can apply for an R350 grant for up to six months. Here is a form for checking the srd status check.

The Sassa official website provides information about how to apply for the grant; after you submit the application, you will receive status updates through the Sassa Status Check online service. By doing this, you will be able to ensure whether or not your relief funds will be received. Moreover, the Sassa status check for R350 payment is also available on the Sassa website

SASSA will begin verification of the applicants’ SRD applications once they submit their applications. This process is called SASSA VERIFICATION AND VALIDATION.

Data from the Department of home affairs will be used to verify your name, surname, and ID number. UIF, SARS, and NSFAS databases will be matched with the ID number. You will be notified if your application has been approved or declined, along with a reason, once the verification has been completed.

To check your SASSA status, you can follow these steps:

  1. Visit the SASSA website at www.sassa-statuscheck.co.za
  2. Click on the “Check your Status” tab.
  3. Enter your ID number and click on “Submit”.
  4. Your SASSA status will be displayed on the screen, indicating whether your application is approved, pending or rejected.
  5. If your application is pending, you can contact SASSA directly for more information on the status of your application.

Alternatively, you can call the SASSA toll-free number at 0800 60 10 11 and follow the prompts to check the srd status check of your application.
