{"id":208,"date":"2023-08-26T01:20:21","date_gmt":"2023-08-26T01:20:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobsite.creativemindz.co.za\/?p=208"},"modified":"2023-08-26T01:20:23","modified_gmt":"2023-08-26T01:20:23","slug":"general-worker-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jobsite.creativemindz.co.za\/index.php\/2023\/08\/26\/general-worker-3\/","title":{"rendered":"General Worker"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>General Worker &#8211; XERWM003\u00a0&#8211;\u00a0(2300005M)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Description<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position<\/strong>:&nbsp;General Worker (Non-renewal contract<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Department<\/strong>:&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;Economic Development<br><strong>Division<\/strong>:&nbsp;Environmental Protection, Resilience and Project Management<br><strong>Salary<\/strong>:&nbsp;R4 356 Per Month<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Core Responsibilities<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform general maintenance work around water bodies as well as terrestrial landscapes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform tasks involving physical labour around water bodies as well as terrestrial landscapes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintenance of waterbodies i.e. cutting, removal and loading of water hyacinth and reeds from natural resources around the City<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manually remove litter, debris, plastic or any foreign materials from water bodies (rivers, lakes and dams)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Safely operate hand tools needed to carry daily activities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clean and assist with upkeep of facilities and tools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform maintenance tasks based on the instructions from supervisors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Properly maintain and store equipment and materials in a safe secure and orderly manner<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete daily work assignments in a timely and accurate manner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Note: The posts as advertised are under the Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) and for a period limited up to June 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants are limited to apply for only one category.
