Opportunities include our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopriteholdings.co.za\/careers\/youth-opportunities.html#rrp\">Retail Readiness Programme (RRP)<\/a>,\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopriteholdings.co.za\/careers\/youth-opportunities.html#yes\">Youth Employment Services (YES) Initiative<\/a>, and\u00a0 comprehensive\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.shopriteholdings.co.za\/careers\/youth-opportunities.html#bursaries\">study bursaries<\/a>\u00a0in several academic fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>If you\u2019re young, ambitious and serious about your future, one of these programmes will set you on the path to success<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Retail Readiness Programme (RRP)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>This skills programme provides young people without previous work experience, with the basic skills to work in a retail environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme comprises of five weeks of practical training and two weeks theory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful participants receive NQF level 3 qualifications upon completion of the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>WHO CAN APPLY?<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>South African youth between 18 and 34 years with no previous work experience.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>A South African Matric or an equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>HOW TO APPLY<\/strong><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Send a WhatsApp to 087 240 5709 and select Job Opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit your CV at the nearest Shoprite, Checkers, or Usave supermarkets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/shoprite.jobs\/\" target=\"_blank\">APPLY ONLINE<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Youth Employment Services (YES)<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.yes4youth.co.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Youth Employment Service<\/a>&nbsp;is a business-driven initiative with government and labour that builds economic pathways for youth to help reduce unemployment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme provides 12 months on-the-job training where participants are exposed to various parts of the retail business.
